Quiet as it's kept on mainstream news, there's now a lawsuit against John McCain: McCain committed to saying "I opt into public financing" to get a loan. Then, he got the loan, after which he opted out, breaking financing rules. Now he's back in?? During this whole debacle, the Federal Election Commission was missing 5 seats, so no one was home while McCain wheeled and dealed. And now, the mainstream news is saying Barack Obama is the flip flopper??? I'm sorry, but I remember Obama, from day one, committing to fundraising through the small donations of millions of people, some having BAKE SALES, to send $$ to his campaign. I'll tell you what's wrong: that someone like Obama is still working so hard to be the President of these United States, even after meeting the hundreds of thousands of rascists who will not vote for him only because of the color of his skin. Had they read his books, had they been listening to him, they'd really have to question their OWN intelligence, instead of worrying about the fact that he NOT ALL WHITE!!!! I've had conversations with all kinds of rascist people lately, and I say: Barack, THESE are the people, the Americans you want to be president of?? WHY??? The bottom line is: we've got GLOBAL WARMING as the #! problem on our planet, and HE IS THE ONLY PERSON who is ready to meet that challenge head on!! Period.
Today, the 40+ lawsuits brought by private citizens against the US Government for listening in on their personal conversations are now NULL AND VOID. Your President Bush somehow got his way. The lobbyists for the huge conglomerate telecommunications companies apparently won over the hearts and minds of those we trusted (Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi to name 2), convincing them to vote to let AT&T, Vonage and the like OFF THE HOOK for good! They cannot be punished or taken to court for letting Uncle Sam use them to eavesdrop on your Mom's personal phone conversation.
Gas is almost $5.00 per gallon. We're all outraged and want our government to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! RIGHT?? So now Bush is calling for drilling offshore, in Anwar, and anywhere else LEFT ON EARTH, but especially anywhere IN THIS COUNTRY. Isn't that what the whole rush to $5.00/gallon by July 4th, 2008, was all about from the START??? BUSH IS AN OIL MAN!! WHY DO WE THINK HE WOULD WANT THE PRICES TO COME DOWN???????? And now he's going drilling for MORE!!!!!! HEllO! Is anyone OUT THERE? Or have all our minds been tainted by mercury in the fish??? (You think it produces autism in CHILDREN? WHAT THE HELL IS IT DOING TO THE POOR FISH?????)
